Trains and Planes

Portland Light Rail

Time for less talk, more photos. In Portland today I took the TriMet's MAX Light Rail system from Pioneer Square downtown up to the airport, about a half hour ride. Fellow Olympus E-330 shooter, B.D. Colen, shares photos from the Boston subway and is a regular contributer to the LUG e-list (Leica User Group), where I have also been a member for many years. Do LUGgers with Olympus E-330's therefore become Lympars?

Sorry B.D. . .  In any case, your Boston MTBA photos did inspire me while on the train to try some creative use of the 7-14mm/f4 zoom, a lens he also uses to capture scenes and people along the way:

Horizon Air Turbo Prop

After the light rail train in Portland, Horizon Air took me on their

Bombadier Q400 (DH4) via Redding back home to Eureka, CA.

All photos above taken with Olympus E-330 and Zuiko 7-14mm/f4 zoom, various settings.

The Olympus camera kit traveled well and even inspired me to buy a better camera bag.
