Farm and dairy fields frame the Eel River where it meets the Pacific. The valley is ten miles south of Eureka between Table Bluff on the north and the town of Ferndale on the south. During severe winter floods, the Eel River can carry as much silt as the Mississipi and the entire valley picture here has been inundated.

Custom Aerial Photography

We offer custom aerial photographs and photo enlargements according to your specific need. You may not need an expensive surveyor grade photo on nine-inch film, but a snapshot out the airplane window won’t work either. That is where our experience and equipment fills the need for high quality photography at a reasonable price.

Photo flights are normally done from a Eureka-based Cessna with an experienced pilot whose only job is flying. After determining your needs, we preplan all flights, calculate GPS co-ordinates and transects if necessary, then fly as a team in which my only responsibility is to take the best possible photograph for you.

Equipped For Your Aerial image

I use the finest Zeiss and Leica lenses for incredible sharpness and color, enhanced even more by the use of shock-absorbig camera mounts and gyro stabilization. Both medium and 35mm film formats are available. Whether oblique photos or straight-down shots from our vertical camera mount, your pictures will show every detail. I can also design a database for retrieving and displaying your photos on a computer or network.
