| Early in the morning the still waters of Stone Lagoon reflect forests and hills that surround it. Location: 36 miles north of Eureka on Highway 101. Directions: Driving north, look for the Humboldt Lagoon State Park Visitor’s Center on the west side of Highway 101. Stone Lagoon is one of several scenic inland waters along the North Coast. Near the Visitor’s Center a boat ramp and sandy beach make for an easy walk to the shore. |
