| Looking south at sunset towards Clam Beach gives one of the many coastal views along the old Highway 101. Location: 20 miles north of Eureka, just west of Highway 101. Directions: Drive north of Eureka on Highway 101 for 19 miles and take the West Haven Drive exit. Go west under the freeway, then north on Trinidad Scenic Drive. The old road goes for about 10 miles through the little port town of Trinidad and up to Patrick’s Point State Park, where you merge with Highway 101 again. |
